Nestor's Cup
Our yachting company, inspired by the exceptional archaeological find of Nestor's Cup on the shores of Ischia, offers tailor-made sea tours which echo a timeless pursuit of elegance and grace.
“I am the cup of Nestor good for drinking. Whoever drinks from this cup, desire for beautifully crowned Aphrodite will seize him instantly.”
The name of our yachting company originates from the illustrious Greek myths which stem from the island of Ischia and set it apart as a significant historical location: in 1955, on the sun-kissed sands of San Montano bay in Lacco Ameno, archaeologist Giorgio Buchner unearthed Nestor's Cup, a drinking vessel of unprecedented historical significance.
It is not entirely clear to whom to cup belonged, to the point that two legends sprung up around it: the first attributes ownership to Nestor, the hero mentioned in Homer's Iliad, while the second legend assigns ownership to a young boy who lived in Ischia in the 4th century.
Whether it belonged to the great hero Nestor or to a young member of a noble family from the 4th century, a striking detail inscribed on the cup points to a connection with Aphrodite, the goddess of beauty.

The engraving on the side of Nestor's Cup pays homage to the refined attributes and elegant beauty embodied by the Greek goddess Aphrodite.
Just as the enlightened Greeks discerned where to find beauty and revelled in it, let us now rediscover the art of living – the sublime beauty inherent in life itself.
This will be our starting point on an exclusive sea journey where leisure, natural wonders and the rediscovery of timeless values come together- a unique opportunity to partake in an experience that is both an outward exploration of natural beauty and an inward journey of self-discovery.
